Rockefeller Centre from the Getty Archive
The famous Rockefeller Centre building is illuminated by skyscraper windows and roaming Klieg lights which graze the dusky night sky.
Along with the Chrysler Building and the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Building sits amongst the most stylish, the most impressive, and the most jaw-dropping examples of early 20th century architecture in New York City.
Rockefeller building was designed by American architect Raymond Hood, and was completed in May 1933.
