Brian Griffin (born in 1948 in Birmingham) is widely acknowledged as one of the most prominent British photographers of his generation, constantly working on new materials and still pushing boundaries of contemporary photography. He is famous for his ground-breaking approach to portraiture from Iggy Pop to Kate Bush, and numerous high profile projects stretching from 'Work' in the 1980's to his project charting 'The Road to 2012', commissioned by the National Portrait Gallery. 'Work' went on to be awarded the Best Photography book in the World at the Barcelona Primavera Fotografica 1991 and The Life magazine used the photograph "A Broken Frame" on its front cover of a special supplement "The Greatest Photographs Of The 80's". Throughout his career, over twenty monographs of Griffin's work have been published, his work has been the subject of over fifty international solo exhibitions and is held in institutional collections including the Victoria
Albert Museum, London; the Arts Council of Great Britain, London; the British Council, London; the National Portrait Gallery, London; the Museum Folkwang, Essen; the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery; the Art Museum Reykjavík, Iceland; the Mast Foundation, Bologna; and the Museu da Imagem, Braga, Portugal. In 2009, Brian Griffin became the patron of FORMAT Festival and in 2013 he received the Centenary Medal from the Royal Photographic Society in recognition of a lifetime achievement in photography. ***
“I think that Brian is one of the most interesting portrait photographers ever. His portrait photography belongs to another time. Portrait photography today is like so simple, so straightforward, so it seems that all photography portraits are alike. Brian is different and Brian has a craziness in him – a craziness in a way to see the world, and intensity that belongs only to him.”
– Francois Hébel, Director, Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson (present), Director, Les Rencontres d’Arles (1986-1987, 2001-2014). /As quoted in the documentary by Michael Prince; The Surreal Lives of Brian Griffin, 2018/

About the artist
Linda Rosewall’s artistic path was cemented during her childhood. She was inspired by her farther, an accomplished musician and composer who raised his six children as a performing family act.
The experience of traveling the United States and Canada in a small airplane piloted by her father provided the opportunity for Linda to capture these moments on her small Kodak Instamatic Camera.
At the age of 18, she enrolled at Columbia College of Fine Arts Chicago. During her studies, Linda apprenticed under photographer Norman Bilisko and later worked with Dennis Manarchy...

The 3 Stripe-eteers (Limited Edition of 10) - Animal Photography
By Viet Chu
Located in New York, NY
New York City based wildlife and street photographer Viet Chu, captured this unusual black and white shot of three Zebras in Sayari Camp, Serengeti, Asilia Africa. Chu’s emphasis is to give us a glimpse of an everyday life in the wild, to inspire us with the strength, grace and necessary protection of wildlife.
As a world traveler for photographic assignments, Viet Chu finds beauty in life’s special moments in time, capturing each in his photographs. His work is a reflection of his journey’s and experiences. In his approach to capture an image, he utilizes traditional and non-traditional means of lighting and infuse it with an intuitive sensibility, which is then converged with emotional intelligence to create a simple net composition of shadows and light, of subject and background, of space and inter-space, all with the goal of stopping a moment of time that tells a story for the rest of time.
Limited Edition of this print, numbered and signed by Viet Chu are available in the sizes below.

Autumn at the Bow Bridge (Limited Edition of 25) - Landscape Photography
By Christopher Petsos
Located in New York, NY
This image captured by New York photographer Christopher Petsos in 2014, featuring The Bow Bridge (cast iron bridge), located in Central Park, New York City. The photograph demonstrates the beauty of New York City in the Fall, when the humidity of summer is gone but plenty of days with warm temperatures and blue skies remain to demonstrate a show of colorful foliage, as do the residential side streets and busy squares.
Christopher Petsos is a New York City based photographer and artist. He is best known for capturing Light, pattern, texture, color and motion across the urban realm. Christopher Petsos believes that we see things through a filter of the self, a camera records the physical details of a scene, but our human eyes and sub-conscious self are the interpreters that complete our view of reality.
In his own words:
“Throughout the process, I stay faithful to the underlying truth of the scene. My work inhabits the space between literal depiction and my emotional Impression of the moment. The result is hyper-reality: facts imbued with feeling.” In this image, Christopher Petsos stands true to his words and brilliantly captures the light, pattern, texture, color and motion across the urban realm and painted it in his own colors to give the viewer a new perspective.
Limited Numbered Edition of this iconic print on fine art archival pigment paper and signed by Christopher Petsos are available in the sizes below.
We ship world-wide and shipping is free. Your choice of one or many artworks will be given the highest standard care and delivery.
