Hand-signed by the artist, dated and numbered on back. The original mark is also present on back. Edition of 5 photos.
The artwork is one of the photographs of the series "Gloomy Sunday" realized by the artist in the second half of the 2000s.
The artwork represents a young female figure, the Italian poetess Antonia Pozzi (Mila, 1912 - Milan, 1938) who committed suicide at the age of 26. Antonia was a delicate spirit and was oppressed by the suffocating a bigot environment of the 1920's Italy. She left us poems and photographs and an unforgettable farewell letter in which she declares a "mortal despare". The shot shows a thing, young woman in a winter landscape at the sunset.
