The ladies lounge of the Paramount Theatre in Oakland was designed by consummate San Francisco-based architect Timothy L. Pfleuger. An exquisite space seemingly out of the past and future simultaneously. Futurist machine-age elements of energy and technology fuse with Art Deco's stylized, bold geometrics and architectural solidity.
