Her focus has been on portrait, urban landscape, and fashion images.Inspired by color and form, her recent SETA series is of sculpted silk fabrics, many hand-painted by the artist. Doris McCarthy was educated at Greenwich Academy, Greenwich, Connecticut and Parsons School of Design, New York.
