Elizabeth Taylor Black Suit, Hand to Lapel -- Mark Shaw photographed Elizabeth Taylor for the October 15, 1956 cover of LIFE magazine. Taylor was starring in the academy award winning film, Giant, as Leslie Benedict, the matriarch of a Texas ranching family. The film also starred Rock Hudson and James Dean. Elizabeth Taylor is number seven on the American Film Institute’s list of top 25 female legends. Image size is 40" x 50" (for 44" x 54" paper size).
