Six Piece Desert Oasis Framed Photography Installation.
A collection of blue hued landscapes and waterscapes from Richard Heeps travels, American road trips shooting his series Dream in Color, Bonneville, Salton Sea. Shot on film these are handprinted from negative in his Cambridge darkroom in the UK. The open road and looking across the water these have a sense of dreamy escapism. They can be hung as a set together or spaced out throughout an interior.
This installation comprises of n individually framed photographs each measuring 23.5" x 27.5" x 1.9".
Each artwork is a limited edition of 25 gloss photographic print, dry-mounted to aluminium, presented in a museum board window mount and a choice of black or white box frame fitted with anti-reflective UV70% glass. They are signed and numbered on reverse accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Handmade to order, they may take additional time. Viewing on a backlit screen may affect the true to life colors.
They are part of a much larger collection of artworks which can be purchased individually and in larger sizes. They can be purchased in bespoke installations and displayed in other figurations to suit the space they are to be situated in. Just get in touch to request a bespoke series.

Frank Schott grew up in Germany and attended the prestigious Academy of Arts in Cologne, studying under Professor Arno Jansen, who was an early influence.
Moving to California in 1998, Schott's work has evolved to include the epic landscapes and deserts of the American West as well as architectural, conceptual and more formal environments from both home and his travels.
Influenced by a number of photographic peers and precursors such as Candida Höfer, Andreas Gursky, Thomas Struth, Jeff Wall, Michael Wolf, Gregory Crewdson, William Eggleston and Joel Sternfeld, Schott's images successfully blend technical, conceptual and formal rigor with a decisive sense of composition and color.
Schott's images have an iconic sensibility and give us a bird's eye view onto humanity and its constructs. The specific is edged towards the abstract, often revealing the compelling and disjunctive moment where nature meets man.
