About the Item
Windscreen, abstract landscape photography by Richard Heeps taken in South Africa.
South African landscape photography. Richard Heeps' work takes you on a journey and the road is a reoccurring theme, often the location is ambiguous allowing you to see your own road trip. Despite the abstract nature of this photograph created by the rain on the window, the open road can still be visualised. Taken in South Africa as part of a sequence of photographs, including 'Schoeman's Drift' and 'Tinted Window' part of Richard's 2009 series 'The New Lantern'.
This artwork is a limited edition of 10, gloss photographic print, dry-mounted to aluminium, presented in a museum board white window mount and a choice of black or white box frame fitted with anti-reflective uv70% glass. It is signed and numbered on reverse and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
This artwork is available in other sizes. Be sure to look at Richard Heeps other artworks in our 1stDibs store as they are great paired for interior design projects.
Richard Heeps’ seductive, highly saturated colours and sophisticated pictorial structures demonstrate a true love and empathy for his subject matter – be it cool, descriptive interiors, still life, portrait or landscape. His work has been exhibited in Museums and Public Galleries around England and he has participated in Art Fairs around the world and his work is now part of many international collections.
