Vintage analog C-prints hold a presence that simply can’t be replicated digitally. Hand-printed by the artist in the darkroom, these works originate from physical negatives — light passing through film onto photographic paper — creating an image built from organic silver-halide grain rather than the hard geometry of pixels. This grain gives the print a softness, a depth, and a living quality unique to analog materials.
In an era dominated by digital files and automated printing, the fact that the artist personally prints each piece in her own studio is exceptionally rare. Every print carries the subtle variations of human touch, darkroom judgment, and the irreplaceable character of the vintage photographic process. These are not simply images; they are crafted objects — one step removed from the negative itself, rooted in light, chemistry, and time.
