About the Item
Veronica Vicente (Pontevedra, 1988) presents "In free verse", a series of nine color photographs, in which she delves into the nature of identity and the layers that hide the true self. As a kind of analogy with the tree and in the form of an open book, the photographs show us a language, a code, a unique and unrepeatable identity comparable only to oneself. What are we going to say about the trees and their pure duration? With her pieces, the Pontevedra artist proposes a tangible time, a time that the viewer can almost touch with her hands. Beyond the time that marks us on the mobile screen, Verónica's photographs stand out for their dense, material time in which we can enter, as if it were a room of time. The trees she photographs in this series are Himalayan birches.
The dimensions of the photograph are 30 x 45 cm and it is framed in natural wood. The photo paper has a matte finish.
