Work beginning at the 1941 Universal Exposition is an original photograph realized in 1937. B/w photograph printed by Agence Trampus, Paris. The original hallmark of the agency (photoreportage Trampus) and the piece of paper with the caption on the back. Good conditions.
The photo represents an important moment of the Italian history: the beginning of the work for the Universal Exposition of 1941. In this photo there is the Duce Mussolini in the center of the composition with some children on the right side and the military and religious authorities on the left side. The Duce is acclaimed by the workers' children of the building site of the Universal Exposition of Rome.
The following description is written on a piece of paper attached to the photo:
"M.Mussolini pose la premiere pierre de l'exposition internationale de 1941 a Rome. - Après avoir posé la première pierre de l'Exposition de Rome de 1941, le Duce visite le camp des Trois Fontaines, où il est acclamé par les enfants des ouvriers travaillants à l'Expos. Agence Trampus V 21-10-37".
