About the Item
Street Photographer Mitchell Funk makes a statement about two New York icons. The majestic Plaza Hotel proudly rises against a deep cobalt blue sky in the crisp early morning light. In the foreground, blurred yellow cabs pass in front of it. Funk's use of intense light makes all the colors pop. A street photographer is always beholden to nature's whims. When a perfect day happens, Funk is out at first light. "Plaza Hotel with Yellow Taxis" is as much a document of a New York landmark as it is a statement about the interaction of found primary colors.
This archival color photograph by fine art photographer Mitchell Funk is signed, dated and numbered 3/15, lower right recto. Other sizes are available and the fine art photograph is unframed and printed later. Printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art paper - Color will vary slightly from monitor to monitor.
