Hand colored silver gelatin print by an unknown artist, likely 1920s or 30s. The photo features Waiānuenue, or Rainbow Falls, found in Hilo, Haiwaii. The coloring is rendered primarily in green tones and ochres, with areas of brighter cyan at the base of the falls and in the sky. The underlying silver print is highly detailed while the colors are added with looser strokes.
