Monica Sánchez-Robles (Spanish, b. Madrid, Spain) is a multidisciplinary contemporary artist whose work spans photography, digital media, and installation. Currently based in Madrid, she has also lived and worked in France and Italy. Her practice explores color, emotion, and abstraction through photographic techniques, often experimenting with the interplay of light and material.
Amarillo (2013) is part of her Color of Emotions series and is a photographic print mounted on plexiglas and dibond. Produced in an edition of three plus one artist’s proof (1/3), the work exemplifies Sánchez-Robles’ mastery of color and surface, creating a vibrant and emotionally engaging image. Her approach transforms photography into a three-dimensional experience, merging technical precision with material presence.
Sánchez-Robles has exhibited widely in Spain and France and participated in international exhibitions and art fairs in Miami, London, and Switzerland.
