The 1998 Pirelli Calendar was photographed in Miami by Bruce Weber.
Milla Jovovich was among the many iconic models photographed for the series entitled: "Women that Men Live For". This is an original test print from the Pirelli portfolio box.
Some of them (test prints) didn’t make it to subsequent calendars. There is a strong possibility that some of these prints might not even have been published (like this one for example) which makes them very rare, an interesting find for any collector.

"Milica Bogdanovna Jovović; born December 17, 1975), known professionally as Milla Jovovich (MEE-lə), is an American actress and former fashion model.[2] Her starring roles in numerous science-fiction and action films led the music channel VH1 to deem her the "reigning queen of kick-butt" in 2006. In 2004, Forbes determined that she was the highest-paid model in the world.
Born in Kiev and raised in Los Angeles, Jovovich began modeling when Herb Ritts photographed her for the cover of the Italian magazine Lei in 1987. Richard Avedon featured her in Revlon's "Most Unforgettable Women in the World" advertisements.[3] In 1988, she made her screen debut in the television film The Night Train to Kathmandu and appeared in her first feature film, Two Moon Junction.
Jovovich gained attention for her role in the 1991 romance film Return to the Blue Lagoon. She was considered to have a breakthrough with her role in the 1997 French science-fiction action film The Fifth Element, written and directed by Luc Besson.''
Bruce Weber is a photographer and filmmaker best known for black-and-white photographs that capture an all-American look and feel. Often working in portraiture, Weber strives to capture the emotions of his subjects and honestly reveal elements of personality. While he credits Diane Arbus as an artistic influence, Weber has helped define an idealized and iconic American look, particularly through 1980s advertisement campaigns for brands such as Abercrombie and Fitch, Ralph Lauren, and Calvin Klein.

Bruce Weber
Photographer and filmmaker Bruce Weber first rose to international prominence in the early 1980s on the success of images that combined classical styling with more visceral underpinnings of mood and sexuality. His ability to construct a seamless sense of romance and drama created the central public images for fashion houses like Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Versace, and Abercrombie and Fitch, as well as earning him an enduring presence as a contributor to magazines at the very highest levels in the industry. Throughout his career, Weber has worked in various forms–he has directed seven short- and feature- length films, published more than 37 books, and has held more than 60 exhibitions worldwide–extending his lifelong exploration of the nature of human relationships.
