The 1998 Pirelli Calendar was photographed in Miami by Bruce Weber. It was titled "Women that men live for; Men that women live for,". Patricia Arquette was among the many iconic models photographed.
This is an original print from the Pirelli portfolio box.
Some of the submissions prints didn’t make it to subsequent calendars. There is a strong possibility that some of these prints might not even have been published (like this one for example) which makes them very rare, an interesting find for any collector!
"Patricia Arquette (born April 8, 1968) is an American actress. She made her feature film debut as Kristen Parker in A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987) and has since received several awards, including an Academy Award, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and three Golden Globe Awards.
Arquette had starring roles in several critically acclaimed films, including True Romance (1993), Ed Wood (1994), Flirting with Disaster (1996), Lost Highway (1997), The Hi-Lo Country (1998), Bringing Out the Dead (1999), and Holes (2003). From 2005 to 2011, she starred as a character based on the medium Allison DuBois, in the supernatural drama series Medium, winning the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2005.
For playing a single mother in the coming-of-age film Boyhood (2014), which was filmed from 2002 until 2014, Arquette won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. For her role as a prison worker in the miniseries Escape at Dannemora (2018) and as Dee Dee Blanchard in the miniseries The Act (2019), she won Golden Globe Awards, and a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress for The Act. She starred in the Apple TV+ thriller series Severance (2022–present)."
About the Photographer: Bruce Weber (b.1946) is a photographer and filmmaker best known for black-and-white photographs that capture an all-American look and feel. Often working in portraiture, Weber strives to capture the emotions of his subjects and honestly reveal elements of personality. While he credits Diane Arbus as an artistic influence, Weber has helped define an idealized and iconic American look, particularly through 1980s advertisement campaigns for brands such as Abercrombie and Fitch, Ralph Lauren, and Calvin Klein.

Bruce Weber
Photographer and filmmaker Bruce Weber first rose to international prominence in the early 1980s on the success of images that combined classical styling with more visceral underpinnings of mood and sexuality. His ability to construct a seamless sense of romance and drama created the central public images for fashion houses like Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Versace, and Abercrombie and Fitch, as well as earning him an enduring presence as a contributor to magazines at the very highest levels in the industry. Throughout his career, Weber has worked in various forms–he has directed seven short- and feature- length films, published more than 37 books, and has held more than 60 exhibitions worldwide–extending his lifelong exploration of the nature of human relationships.
