This piece is an original photograph from the original negative, shot by Joe Waldorf in the 1970's. It depicts American singer, dancer, actor, and comedian, Sammy Davis Jr. Davis was a member of the famous Rat Pack, a group of entertainers from the 1960's centered on the Las Vegas casino scene. Members of this group included Sammy Davis Jr., Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Peter Lawford, and Joey Bishop. This piece is hand signed and bears the Edward Weston Collection copyright on the verso. The sheet measures 14 x 11 inches and the image measures 13 x 8.75 inches.
