An original photograph printed from the original negative, shot by Milton Greene in 1956, and printed at a later date. It was created for Greene's series entitled "The Black Sitting", which are some of the most alluring and provocative images of Marilyn Monroe. The black bustier worn by Marilyn in this shot sparked the design of the costume worn by Monroe’s character, Cherie, in the film “Bus Stop.”
This piece is hand signed on the back and marked A.P. aside the edition of 250. It also bears the Milton H. Greene authentication stamp on the backside. This piece measures 20 x 16 inches.
