Enrolling in the New Media Art Department at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan marked the beginning of Ren Wei Heng's artistic exploration. However, her path took an unexpected turn when she faced debilitating health challenges and psychological distress. Despite the initial diagnosis of an anxiety disorder, Ren Wer Heng's perseverance led her to uncover the true nature of her condition- a delayed onset allergy. This transformative experience has left an indelible mark on her psyche, instilling in her a sense of detachment that permeates her artistic expression.
Ren Wei Heng's artworks delve into two main themes: the observation of people and the contemplation of plants. In her photographs, she assumes the role of a silent observer, capturing the essence of human interactions and the vitality of natural growth. "The Plant" series, characterized by dark tones and intricate compositions, invites viewers to explore the beauty and complexity of botanical life. Each photograph reveals a world of textures, shapes, and colors, inviting contemplation and introspection.

Ren Weiheng studied at the Brera Academy in Milan from 2008 to 2012. Then she focused on photography. She was misdiagnosed with "anxiety disorder" due to physical illness for more than ten years, and she was treated strangely, making her alienated from others, which is reflected in her works. Most of her works take "observation" as the theme, observing plants and people. In Ren Weiheng's works, inexpressible plants are life with "character", while "people", the same as inanimate buildings, rivers, lakes, and mountains, are components of the world.
