This lithograph was printed in 2007 by the Vera List print program to raise funds for Lincoln Center The regular edition was unsigned; however, exceptionally, the present work is boldly signed in black marker by Thomas Nozkowski. It also bears a personal dedication to the present owner. (Kevin) This was signed by the artist for the present owner at Nozkowski's 2016 opening at the Pace Gallery in Manhattan, so provenance is direct.

Thomas Nozkowski
Thomas Nozkowski (March 23, 1944 – May 9, 2019) was an American contemporary painter.[1] He achieved a place of prominence through his small scale paintings and drawings that push the limits of visual language. Nozkowski was born in Teaneck, New Jersey and raised in Dumont,[2] where he graduated from Dumont High School in 1961.[3] He spent his youth in the New Jersey suburbs, admiring New York culture from afar before moving there after graduating high school. When he was a senior in high school he won a scholarship to attend a painting class at New York University's School of Education, where he studied with Robert Kaupelis and Hale Woodruff.[2] While he earned his BFA at Cooper Union, Nozkowski was making sculptures. He graduated in 1967. He later transitioned to painting, and exhibited some of his earliest works in group shows at the storied Betty Parsons Gallery.[4]

This hand signed silkscreen was created on the occasion of Lincoln Center's Mostly Mozart Festival in 2009 and features one of Terry Winters' iconic silkscreens titled, "Illustrated Set". This work was created in 2009 and signed by the artist 2016. Terry Winters signed it for the present owner, so provenance is direct. The regular (unsigned) edition was 800; however, this work is uniquely signed by hand.
In very good condition; the only gentle handling marks were caused by Terry Winters when signing.
