Andre Beaudin
André Beaudin (1895-1979) was a French painter and sculptor known for his distinctive contributions to modern art. Born in Mennecy, France, Beaudin studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Initially influenced by Cubism, Beaudin developed a unique style characterized by simplified forms and geometric abstraction. He often depicted still lifes, nudes, and landscapes with a poetic and lyrical quality, using a subdued color palette and refined compositions. Beaudin's work evolved over time, incorporating elements of Surrealism and Abstract Expressionism while maintaining his focus on structure and balance. His sculptures, primarily in bronze, also reflect his interest in form and rhythm. André Beaudin's artistic legacy continues to be celebrated, with his works exhibited in major museums and collections worldwide.
