The etching represents a ram in attack position in a square space. The figure of the animal is violent, imponent and aggressive and it's characterized by a high contrast compared to the fund.
Enrique Marín Higuero (1876) received his academic training in sculpture in Rome. His work shows an academic style of painting that mixes with classical influences and the Spanish tradition. Works by Marín Higuero can be found in important collections of museums, including the Prado in Madrid.
