Farfalla is a beautiful colored lithograph on rosaspina paper, realized in 1980 by the Italian artist, Giuseppe Giannini. Hand-signed, dated and numbered in pencil on lower margin. Edition of 99 prints.
This contemporary artwork representing with an incredible poetry a colorful butterfly just lied on a flower of a field troubled by the flight of seagulls put to flight by a fire in the distance, is in excellent conditions, except for light folds on the lower left corner of the sheet.

Giannini Giuseppe (Lucca, 1937)
The Italian artist moved to Milan in 1959 after having become friends with the painter of Existential Realism Giuseppe Banchieri. From the Sixties to today he has made many exhibitions throughout Italy. Many of his artworks, mostly painting on canvas and engravings, are inspired by literary works.
