Adoration des Mages is an original artwork realized by Isidore Sage in the first decades in 1926.
Original colored xylograph on paper.
Image dimensions: 13 x 24 cm.
Titled and numbered in pencil on the lower left corner; hand-signed on the lower right in pencil. Dated in pencil on the upper right corner.
Edition of 150 prints.
Very good conditions.
The work has been realized by the artist Isidore Sage (1888 - 1952) and represent the typical scene of the procession of the three Wise bringing offers to the Child Jesus with the Virgin. The ichonograph recalls the typical byzantine style and the volumetry of the shapes is given with only the green color of the background and the black contour lines.
