Hand-signed in pencil on the lower right: I. Sage; titled and numbered on the lower left corner: 35/150 Autun - Nativité (XII S.); dated in pencil on the upper right corner: 1927.
Very good conditions.
The work has been realized by the artist Isidore Sage (1888 - 1952) and represent the typical scene of the procession of the three Wise bringing offers to the Child Jesus with the Virgin. The ichonograph recalls the typical byzantine style and the volumetry of the shapes is given with only the green color of the background and the black contour lines.
