BREAD LINE ca. 1935
Lithograph, signed, titled and no. 22/85 in pencil. Image 15” x 17 3/8. Large margins, sheet 18 x 22”. Generally good condition. Some slight discoloration in the four corners well outside image from old glue and other minor soiling in the margins and at side edges. Small loss at lower right sheet edge. VERY STRONG WORKER PRINT AND SCARCE. The National Gallery dates their example 1935. Although the intended edition is 85, it rarely appears on the market.

Iver Rose
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Iver Rose was a painter and lithographer who lived in New York City from 1923–29, Chicago from 1930–55, and Springfield, Massachusetts and Rockport from 1955–72. Rose studied at the Hull House in Chicago and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
