About the Item

Artist: PUNK Title: Sweet Tooth Medium: Signed Numbered Limited Edition Giclée on Paper Edition Size: 10 Image Size: 34” x 54” Framed Size (Approx.): 41” x 61” Colorful, nostalgic, and irresistibly playful — The Dentist by New York pop artist PUNK is a sugar-coated explosion of childhood icons and retro Americana. This vibrant limited edition giclée blends Willy Wonka, Goofy, Bugs Bunny, Alfred E. Neuman, and other beloved cartoon characters with vintage candy ads, soda pop labels, and confectionery nostalgia — all infused with PUNK’s bold, irreverent humor. A feast for the eyes, Sweet Tooth is both a tribute to innocence and a tongue-in-cheek reminder of indulgence — sweet, chaotic, and unforgettable. Each piece is hand-signed and numbered by the artist, limited to a worldwide edition of only 10. Museum-Quality Custom Framing • 1½" white cube frame • 8-ply white museum matting (100% acid-free) • Conservation clear acrylic (99% UV protection) • Dust-covered backing • Professionally wired and ready for hanging Born in Queens and raised on Long Island, PUNK is a New York–based pop culture artist whose work collides nostalgia, satire, and social commentary in bold, eye-catching compositions. Now in his early fifties, he draws inspiration from the vibrant cultural landscape of his youth—comic books, Hollywood icons, advertising, and street art—reassembling them into layered, tongue-in-cheek visual narratives. PUNK’s pieces are instantly recognizable for their mash-ups of superheroes, movie legends, vintage ads, and cultural symbols. He often gives his works playful, provocative titles such as Gotham City, What’s Up Doc, The Doctor, and Power to the People—names that, like the art itself, grab attention, spark curiosity, and invite viewers to decode their many references. Deeply influenced by the energy of New York, PUNK blurs the lines between fine art and pop culture. His work channels the rebellious spirit of Warhol and Lichtenstein, filtered through a modern graffiti-meets-digital lens—infused with humor, irony, and critique. The result is both a celebration of the icons that shaped generations and a commentary on the commercialization and contradictions of American culture. Through museum-sized giclee’s on canvas and giclee on paper, PUNK captures the chaotic yet familiar noise of modern life. From Batman to Bugs Bunny, James Bond to Willy Wonka, his universe is a colorful remix where past and present collide—reflecting the world back at us with both reverence and rebellion. “Pop culture is our shared language,” PUNK explains. “I just remix it to tell new stories.”

Buffalo Bill 1899 Original Battle of San Juan Hill 1 sheet of a 24 sheet poster
Located in Southampton, NY
This rare original lithograph print is from 1899. It is one sheet of a huge 24 sheet poster that was created in 1899 to announce Buffalo Bills Wild West. The size of the complete 24 sheet poster would have been approx. 10 feet tall by 20 feet wide and would have been posted on barns and buildings in 1899 to promote Buffalo Bills Wild West before it would come to towns. This 1 sheet of the 24 sheet lithograph is in such good condition because it was found in the Lithographers draws of the print shop that created the poster. It is black and white because it was a proof that was used to create the final layout of the color poster. It indicates on the image that it is No. 2 Buffalo Bill San Juan Hill 1899, so it would have been the 2nd poster down on the left side of the large total image comprised of 24 separate sheets all unique to create the full image. You can see the two black printed lines on the left side indicate where the edge of the poster would have been. We have never seen a complete image of this rare 1899 poster. When we first acquired this rare proof over 20 years ago, we contacted the The Ringling Museum in Florida that houses a large Buffalo Bill poster...
