At The Harbor is an original colored lithograph realized by Alberto Chiancone during the 1970s. The artwork is hand-signed in pencil by the artist on the lower right. Artist's proof (P.A. write in pencil on lower left). Original title: Al Porto Good conditions. The scene is set in a port, portrays men, probably fishermen, sitting around a wooden table, intent on talking to each other, perhaps exchanging information on their fishing day. Many of the works created by the artist are set in ports, beaches or more generally in seascapes. In fact, Chiancone, born in Porto Santo Stefano, also lived in Naples, a city from which he surely drew inspiration for many of his works. Alberto Chiancone (26 December 1904–1988) was an Italian painter. Born in Porto Santo Stefano in Tuscany he moved to Naples when he was an adolescent.
