Very limited supply: we only have two examples from this edition left. Biography: Robin Shepherd has been creating art in various forms for more than 50 years. Shepherd earned a Masters of Art at Northampton College of Art in Northampton, England. His experience with TV production at the BBC brought him to Jacksonville in 1973 to work with American public television. Since that time, he has worked as art director at William Cook Agency, and then founded his own design and advertising studio in Jacksonville in 1984. His work was first represented by the Graphis Society Exhibitions and has since continued a diverse and far-reaching tour throughout the U.S. Solo exhibitions have been featured at the Gallery Contemporanea, Landau Gallery in Los Angeles, Sandra Krasman Gallery in New York and the Gallery of Fine Art in Ft. Meyers, Florida. Bodies of work have included “Between Two Fires” in 1988 and “Dangerous Waters” in 1991. His paintings and commissioned works are to be found in numerous public and private collections including USA Today, National Headquarters, Virginia; MCA Records; Delta Airlines; Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, Jacksonville Transportation Authority; SCM Corporation; Barnett Bank; and Southern Bell as well as numerous others. His series of Jazz Greats received high acclaim when exhibited at Landau Gallery in Los Angeles, and Sandra Krasmon Gallery in New York.

The margins are screenprinted in red which connect throughout the central image. Biography: Dan May is an American painter and printmaker born on March 11, 1955 in San Francisco, CA. Raised in aesthetic surroundings heavily influenced by his architect father, May grew up learning to view all things with an eye for design, color, and shape. At age 5, he remembers his father cutting up a book of drawings by Henri Matisse and hanging them on the walls of their home. The French master Matisse as well as Richard Diebenkorn and David Hockney are his favorite art influences. He began his first attempts at painting at age 15, and later began to experiment with printmaking, teaching himself various techniques such as woodblock printing, etching, silkscreen printing, and monoprinting. Monoprinting soon became May's medium of choice due to its wide range of expression and spontaneity that he felt other techniques lacked.
