Stunning print by the legendary contemporary artist Hajime Sorayama.
Features a beautiful nude woman in water with an overall liquidly silver metallic feel.
High gloss heavy paper gives it a great shine quality that compliments the subject very well, especially in person.
This is also a very rare AP (Artist Proof) print.
Hand signed on bottom left by Sorayama in silver ink, marked AP and numbered as well.
Limited edition of 17.
Originally acquired directly from Sorayama team in 2016 but released at an earlier date.
Color print on heavy glossy paper.
Sorayama is considered to be a pioneer in Contemporary and Erotic, Sexy Art.
Artists proofs are also known as AP’s and are even more limited than the standard edition releases. Typically, they do not exceed 10% of the standard edition. Hajime Sorayama (空山 基, Sorayama Hajime, born February 22, 1947) is a Japanese[1] illustrator known, along for his design work on the original Sony AIBO, for his precisely detailed, erotic portrayals of feminine robots. He describes his highly detailed style as "superrealism", which he says "deals with the technical issue of how close one can get to one's object."[1] Modern English-language editions of Sorayama's art books give his name as Hajime Sorayama, using conventional Western order, with given name followed by surname. Some older publications give his name as Sorayama Hajime, using native Japanese name order, which puts the family name first.
