Cappiello is the Father of the Modern Poster. This book goes a long way toward showing why. This hardcover book of 320 pages is the largest, most authoritative collection of Cappiello's work ever presented: 534 poster illustrations in full color, many never seen before. Detailed appraisals and annotations accompany each poster, as well as biographical information and an insight into Cappielo's graphic method. An additional 50 color illustrations show the many other facets of Cappiello's talents - from book and magazine illustrations, to paintings, maquettes, postcards and, most of all, his superb early caricatures.
