American Color Woodcuts: Bounty from the Block, 1890s–1990s, published in 1993 by the Elvehjem Art Center, Madison, WI, is a softcover book in very good condition, with a tight binding and pristine interior. Authored with an introduction by James Watrous, this 135-page volume was produced in conjunction with the exhibition held from January 30 to April 4, 1993, at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Illustrated throughout in color and black
white, this book is a comprehensive exploration of American color woodcuts across a century. This particular copy is signed and dedicated by the author and includes two original copies of the exhibition announcement, adding to its collectible value.
