Medium: etching. Etched by Jules de Goncourt after Paul Gavarni. This impression on thin japon paper was printed by Francois Lienard in 1875 (before letters were added) and published in Paris for a deluxe edition of L'Art. Plate size: 7 7/8 x 5 1/2 inches (200 x 137 mm). Attached by the publisher (at the top two corners) onto a larger support sheet. Signed in the plate, not hand-signed.
