This hand-printed screen print, titled Diagonal, was created by Jurgen Peters in 1979. Published by Editions Limited and printed on-site at the gallery in San Francisco on thick art paper, the piece features vibrant lines of color that create a distorted effect, as if the square at the center has been shaken by an earthquake—a fitting nod to the region’s seismic activity.
