Landscape with Bridge is a beautiful black and white etching realized by Jean-Claude Richard de Saint-Non at the end of 18th Century.
On lower margin under the image the inscriptions : " p.le prince/saint non sculpt."
Representing a nice landscape with bridge with a wise touch, this plate is in excellent conditions, except for a light foxing on the higher margin.
Jean-Claude Richard de Saint-Non, also known as Abbot of Saint-Non, or Abbé de Saint-Non (Paris, 1727 - 1791), was an engraver, draftsman, and humanist, as well as archaeologist, patron, and traveler. A portrait of him, made by his friend Jean-Honoré Fragonard, is held at the Louvre Museum.
