Suzanne Meunier (1888–1979), French artist
This Suzanne Meunier was a French painter, engraver, and illustrator known for her early 20th-century pin-up and boudoir-style art.
Career: She worked for popular French magazines like La Vie Parisienne and Fantasio and created illustrations that were also sold as fine art and postcards.
Significance: Meunier was one of the few prominent female artists working in the pin-up and erotic genres, which were dominated by men at the time.
Training: She was educated at the prestigious Académie Julian in Paris.
