About the artist: Susan Rios was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, and spent her early years nurturing her natural artistic talent, eventually earning an art scholarship to California State University, Northridge in Los Angeles. Upon graduating, Rios began working for an advertising agency and later became a floral designer.
