A lively example of France's stunning trade ads, this ad for Old Manada Rum references the famous trope of the cheerful Green Fairy/Devil, a popular symbol of absinthe at the time.
A large French-sized poster that should make you smile. This nearly nude Nubian is pouring rum from a bottle into a small glass, overflowing onto the text below. The image almost makes the Rum Man appear to float off the dark maroon background, drifting away from it.
