This is a screen print of a pink rose on wove paper, 1990, signed in pencil and numbered from the edition of 72 (total edition includes nine artist's proofs). Published by Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Inc., New York.
John Kelley paints in the tradition of contemporary classic realism. Many of his works recall Greek mythology in order to capture the timeless aspect of the human experience. This image of a rose was created for the 20th Anniversary. The print is unframed. The framed image is for reference only.
