About the Item
This edition was commissioned in 1997 to celebrate 'Lincoln Center Festival'. The edition of 108 is signed and numbered in graphite by the artist. This print comes directly from the publisher, Lincoln Center Editions for Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
Flowers and cornucopia of fruits and vegetables are often subjects of Robert Kushner's paintings. His use of rich color harmonies and bold, fluid drawings emphasize his belief in the importance of beauty in our lives.
Robert Kushner resides in NYC and was commissioned by MTA Arts for Transit to create two mosaic frescos, titled '4 Seasons Seasoned' to adorn the Lexington Avenue subway station at 77th Street. In 2010, the artist was also commissioned to create an 80ft mosaic titled, 'Welcome', for the international airport in Raleigh Durham, North Carolina.
