Artist Biography — Tristan Eaton
Tristan Eaton (born 1978 in Hollywood, California) is a contemporary artist whose career spans street art, muralism, illustration, and design. He began his artistic path in graffiti and public art, later developing a recognizable style built around layered imagery, bold line work, and references drawn from history, pop culture, and everyday life.
Eaton studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York and went on to co-found the influential designer toy company Kidrobot, playing a key role in shaping the art-toy movement. His work has been exhibited internationally and is included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Known for balancing raw street energy with refined composition, Eaton’s work feels both accessible and thoughtful. Whether painted on massive city walls or produced as fine art prints, his pieces reflect a deep engagement with visual culture and storytelling.
