Many view The Atlantic Charter as the true formation of the Allied Forces of WWII. Drafted on August 14, 1941 aboard the USS Augusta, the decree aligned the interests and allegiance of The United States of America with Great Britain. It was drafted and signed in secret by Winston Churchill and Franklin Roosevelt. The Atlantic Charter detailed how the War would eventually end, and has had long lasting implications such as the formation of The United Nations and the breakdown of the British Empire's territories. This important poster serves a simple purpose - to share the content of this important event with the American public.
