Adrienne Fierman’s work embodies the meditative balance between form, material, and spirit that defines her practice. Coiled and pinched entirely by hand, the sculpture rises with a quiet strength—its surface alternating between subtle texture and refined smoothness in its interior.
Influenced by her studies with Native American ceramicists in New Mexico, Fierman’s process honors the clay as a collaborator. She embraces an intuitive dialogue with the material, allowing each work to evolve slowly and organically. Her aesthetic is equally informed by the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, finding beauty in imperfection, simplicity, and authenticity.
More than an object, the work carries a sense of stillness and sanctuary, offering a meditative pause within any space.
