About the Item
„The path to the freestanding sculpture led through relief work. Using a digitized original drawing, I bring forth the sculptures that are later created with laser or water jet cutting. The sculpture emerges from the sheet metal. Through this classic negative-positive process, a play of becoming and fading arises. My favorite materials are stainless steel and aluminum, as they reflect the light and colors of their surroundings. The sculptures are designed both for wall display and as spatial installations.“
