Dave Stevenson
Dave Stevenson has sculpted in studios in Massachusetts, California, Montana, and the Caribbean. He chose these spots for their ready access to snowboarding, surfing, and climbing, activities he cites as Inspiration for the signature fluid contours of his work.
Stevenson’s public art highlights include his monumental bronze Acrobat located outside Brandywine Realty Trust’s corporate headquarters at FMC Tower in Philadelphia, PA (PelliClarke Partners Architects). Over the years, Stevenson has collaborated on commissions with acclaimed musicians, filmmakers choreographers. Notable private collections include those of Pfizer, Inc., James Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment, and the violinist Joshua Bell. Charitable work includes projects for the William J. Clinton Foundation and Parkinson’s Unity Walk.
A graduate of The College of William and Mary, Stevenson is represented in Chicago by Gallery VICTOR. The sculptor splits his time between a small design studio in Manhattan and a larger live/workspace in the Catskills.
