Neighbor is a sculpture by the Italian artist Francesca Bernardini from the series Connections. Dimensions of the sculpture: 21.5 × 20.5 × 7.2 cm (8.46 × 8.07 × 2.83 in) Dimensions of the base: 2.5 × 36.8 × 15 cm (0.98 × 14.49 × 5.91 in).
The Connections series celebrates dialogue—between individuals, communities, and cultures. During her travels abroad, the artist has witnessed firsthand the value of meaningful exchange: collaborations that spark creativity and the positive energy that fuels the growth and dissemination of art. These ideas are reflected visually in sculptures composed of multiple elliptical or elongated forms placed side by side, creating a rhythm of solids and voids, a harmonious interplay of shapes and volumes.

Bernardini’s marble sculptures, with their smooth, rounded forms, are deeply rooted in emotions, personal experiences, and states of mind. Francesca Bernardini participates in numerous sculpture symposia around the world such as in Morocco, Turkey, Taiwan, Chile, Iran and Brazil.
