Franco Adami
Upon his arrival in Paris in 1957, Adami befriended the sculptors Collamarini and Renato Ischia at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, and met Ossip Zadkine at the Grande Chaumière, from whom he gained certain visions of sculpture. His great technical mastery and his vigorous temperament allow Franco ADAMI to work tirelessly on his half-human, half-animal forms, blending civilizations while maintaining his refined sense of quasi-mechanical forms-- hence creating a bridge between the past and the future-- with constant reference to the human condition. Franco ADAMI is undeniably part of the global artistic landscape today with a very personal oeuvre of sculpture that can range from intimate to monumental. Franco ADAMI lives and works between Paris and the Tuscan city of Pietrasanta to create his works of marble and cast bronze.

By crafting organic forms from an obviously man-made metal, Hyldreth creates a unique symbiosis between nature and structure, unifying the sculpture and the surroundings through the free-flowing energy and architecture of his artworks.
Keeping in mind the intimate connection between artists and their tools, Hyldreth studies the potential energies of his metals and coaxes out exquisite forms and natural power. Using mainly stainless steel, as well as the occasional bronze and Cor-ten steel, Hyldreth allows his materials to dictate their final shape and become an ultimate collaboration between man and matter. The evocative forms subliminally draw the audience in, giving every viewer a deeply personal experience.
In 2004 Damon received his BFA in Sculpture from San Francisco Art Institute in San Francisco, CA.
