Sculpture of one piece of wood
Josep Maria Codina Corona (Igualada, 1935 - Barcelona, 2006) was a Catalan sculptor. He studied at the Llotja School of Barcelona (1955) and later at the Artistic Circle of Sant Lluc (Barcelona, 1962). He began his work as a sculptor in 1960, working in metal and wood. Towards 1977 its work adapted the way of the geometric abstraction, resuming in 1992 to its iconic figurative origins. Developing a great career as a sculptor thanks to his imagination and certainty.
