Oliver Ashworth-Martin explores hidden aspects of nature and the plant kingdom in his drawings. To accomplish this exploration, pastel and charcoal are used. The drawings of the modern artist enlarge the plant parts while painstakingly reproducing their motifs, clearly considering botanical veracity.
Oliver Ashworth-Martin often includes natural elements in his drawings and sculptures, taking inspiration from the diversity and vastness of Australian vegetation.
