Beautiful bronze Cosanti bell by Paolo Soleri. In wonderful condition with a lovely patina. Signed and very unique. Measures 22 inches high. Bell is 5 inches high and 4 inches across.
Makes a hauntingly beautiful sound when the wind blows.
Paolo Soleri (1919-2013), the founder of Cosanti and Arcosanti, was an important artist, architecture, philosopher and urban planner. The Italian architect studied with Frank Lloyd Wright at Taliesin West in Arizona, and at Taliesin in Spring Green, Wisconsin. He made his home and studio, Cosanti, near Taliesin West.
